🗺️ Tour Itinerary
🔹 Start of the Journey
Your adventure begins with pickup from your accommodation in Chișinău. Our friendly, professional guide (speaking English, Italian, Russian, or French) and experienced driver will take care of everything — so you can fully enjoy the experience.
🔹 Crossing into Transnistria
We pass the de facto border into the unrecognized state of Transnistria, where Soviet heritage is still alive.
🔹 Stop 1: Bender Fortress (~1 hour)
We arrive in Bender, a city rich in history, and begin with a short guided visit by city. After a brief stop in the city, we continue our journey to the legendary Bender Fortress, built in the 16th century and fortified by the Ottomans and Russians. During the excursion, you'll explore ancient walls, towers, and inner courtyard and enjoy panoramic views of the Dniester river. 
🔹 Stop 2: Tiraspol City Tour (~2 hours)
Once we've explored Bender , we make our way to the capital of Transnistria - Tiraspol. 
We’ll pause for lunch at a typical Soviet-style stolovaya (canteen) – step back in time as you enjoy classic dishes like borscht, cutlets, and kompot, all served in a retro atmosphere with simple decor and nostalgic charm. 
We continue to the capital, Tiraspol, where you’ll enjoy a nostalgic walk through Soviet architecture and local life. Highlights include: Suvorov Monument, Lenin Statue, House of Soviets, The iconic Soviet tank in the city center, Victory Park and Dniester River views
🔹 Stop 3: Kitskany Monastery or Castel Mimi Winery
On the return journey, you can choose one of two experiences:
 • A peaceful visit to Kitskany Monastery, home to one of Moldova’s tallest bell towers and a place of spiritual reflection, or
 • A stop at the elegant Castel Mimi Winery (optional, wine tasting available for additional cost)
🔹 Return to Chișinău
We conclude the tour with drop-off at your accommodation, full of memories and stories to share.
